Keith was my Dad. He was a Kind and gentle man. He is someone who would never bother anyone.

His death in April 2008 was very sudden and totally unexpected.

He left behind 3 daughters and 1 son. He loved his children dearly they meant the world to him.

I had the Honour of him giving me away at my wedding in December 2004. I was so Proud of Him and he looked so handsome in his suit.

He never got the chance on earth to become a grandad but he has had the chance in heaven when our 3 little angels joined him.

We all miss him dearly and I wish We had told him more often how much we loved him.

The pain of losing my dad is unbearable people say it gets better with time. I dont believe it. it has'nt for me. I would give anything to bring him back or even just to have 5 more minutes with him.

If you can still hear me dad I Love You so Much and Miss you Every Day.

A Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.

He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends ~
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!

He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
and helpful and strong.

In all that you do,
a dad's love plays a part ~
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.

And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!

Thank you, Dad ...
for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!

You've always had a special place,
deep within my heart.
Forever there it will remain,
whether we're near or far apart.

You've always been a favourite,
to everyone you know.
You've always made me happy,
when I was feeling low.

The kind advice you gave to me,
will never be replaced.
Nothing else can ever compare,
when I see a smile upon your face.

I want you to know I love you,
and you mean the world to me.
You're the star I'll always wish upon,
the light I'll always see.

No words I write can ever say
How much I miss you every day.
As time goes by, the loneliness grows;
How I miss you, nobody knows!
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name,
But all I have are memories
And photos in a frame.
No one knows my sorrow,
No one sees me weep,
But the love I have for you
Is in my heart to keep.
I've never stopped loving you
I'm sure I never will;
Deep inside my heart,
You are with me still.
Heartaches in this world are many
But mine is worse than any.
My heart still aches as I whisper low,
"I need you and I miss you so."
The things we feel so deeply
Are often the hardest to say,
But I just can't keep quiet any more,
So I'll tell you anyway.
There is a place in my heart
That no one else can fill;
I love you so, Dad,
And I always will.

DAD

Dad...so many images come to mind
whenever I speak your name;
It seems without you in my life
things have never been the same.

What happened to those lazy days
when I was just a child;
When my life was consumed in you
in your love, and in your smile.

What happened to all those times
when I always looked to you;
No matter what happened in my life
you could make my gray skies blue.

Dad, some days I hear your voice
and turn to see your face;
Yet in my turning...it seems
the sound has been erased.

Dad, who will I turn to for answers
when life does not make sense;
Who will be there to hold me close
when the pieces just don't fit.

Oh, Dad, if I could turn back time
and once more hear your voice;
I'd tell you that out of all the dads
you would still be my choice.

Please always know I love you
and no one can take your place;
Years may come and go
but your memory will never be erased.

Life Lessons

You may have thought I didn't see,
Or that I hadn't heard,
Life lessons that you taught to me,
But I got every word.

Perhaps you thought I missed it all,
And that we'd grow apart,
But Dad, I picked up everything,
It's written on my heart.

Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be
The woman I am today;
You built a strong foundation
No one can take away.

I've grown up with your values,
And I'm very glad I did;
So here's to you, dear father,
From your forever grateful kid.

The poem, Everything Dad, it reminds me so much of my grandpa. It sounds like Keith was an amazing man and father. My thoughts are with all of those who knew and loved him.

An Eternal memory of a Special Dad

You made the world a better place
In your own special way
and you're still loved so very much
and missed more everyday
your leaving caused a lot of tears
and so much grieving too
it was the hardest thing of all
to say goodbye to you
you gave your love until one day
you heard the angels call
and above us now in heaven
lives the best dad of them all

My Dad

There is no amount of words that can describe the pain of losing my dad. It was a sudden and unexpected death.

I try to remember the wonderful times I shared with my Dad. He was a very quiet man who would not bring harm to anyone. He loved his family more than life itself. If everyone one in life took just one thing from my dad life would be better for everyone.

I have put some poems below which I hope everyone would like.

Everything Dad
A little girl needs her daddy
To love her with manly charm,
To soothe her when she’s hurt,
And keep her safe from harm.
A girl needs her dad
To show her a man who’s good,
To help her make right choices,
As only a father could.
A woman needs her father
Just to be aware,
He’ll always be there for her
To sustain her and to care.
You’ve been all these things, Dad.
I hope that you can see
How much I treasure you;
You mean everything to me.

My Dad
I know this man who is dear to my heart suddenly one day it was all torn apart.
This man taught me everything that I needed to know but I never really listened until he had to go.
He gave me love and touched my life its all over now he no longer has to fight.
He trid to teach me right from wrong the day he left i was'nt that strong.
He is gone now its hard to believe this man is my dad who I never will see.
But I will see him again this i know the day will come when its time for me to go.
So i'll hold him dear and close to my heart because the day we'll meet we will never be apart.
